Thank You

Thank you to everyone who help make the 2023 Washington State Short Track Championship a success, from the Puget Sound families and volunteers to the visitors from Alaska Speed Skating, Burnaby Speed Skating, Mountain View Speedskating Northbrook Speed Skating, Vancouver Speed Skating, and Whatcom Speed Skating.

We extend our heartfelt appreciation to EMTs Jesse Nemens and Brian Maier who came down again from Seattle keep our skaters safe and all the members from the Seattle Police and Fire Departments who came to support us. And, we want to reccognize Champaign Regional Speedskating for their donation of 33 crash pads this winter.

Most importantly, we want to extend our deepest sympathy to all the friends and family who recently lost Whatcom speed skater Jim Minami. His wisdom and grace touched many of us in the Pacific Northwest and beyond. He is missed. You can contribute to his memory by participating at his Tribute webpage here.
