Puget Sound Speedskating Club is pleased to announce the 2024 WA State Short Track Championship. This US Speedskating sanctioned event will be raced on a 111m track on one of the rink’s two 200′ x 85′ sheets of ice. Skaters 8 and under will race on an 85m track. Each competitor will race 3 distances. Time permitting, relay races will be held after all distance races. Racers will be placed in divisions according to their ability determined by entry seed times. Skaters who select the “Novice” designation will race in novice-only races. Event officials may rearrange heats in the interest of safety. Awards will be given according to points totals in each gender and division.

Note: This competition consisted of two events, the Washington State Short Track Championship and the Washington State Short Track Open. The first was open to only Washington State residents and the second was an open international event.
