Puget Sound Speedskating Club is pleased to announce the 2026 Pacific Northwest Short Track Open. This US Speedskating sanctioned event will be raced on a 111m track on one of the rink’s two 200′ x 85′ sheets of ice. Skaters aged 8 and under will race on an 85m track. Each skater will race in a semifinal and a final in two distances and a super final in a third distance for a total of five races. Race heats will be organized by ability. Award divisions will be based on age and gender.

Puget Sound Speedskating takes the safety of athletes and visitors seriously. Please familiarize yourself with the SafeSport Policies and Reporting Protocol that we subscribe to.
Ferrell’s Fire Equipment & Safety has generously provided Puget Sound Speedskating and PS Ice Sports with CO2 cylinders and refilling services.
