This 2-day US Speedskating sanctioned event will be raced on a 111m track on one of the rink’s two 200’ x 85’ sheets of ice. Skaters 6 and under will race on an 85m track. On April 4 (Saturday), events 1 and 2 will each consist of both semifinal and final rounds. On April 5 (Sunday), event 3 will also consist of both semifinal and final rounds. Event 4 will consist of a final round only. Should there be a large number of participants, it will be divided into a B Final and an A Final. No relay races will be held. A 4th distance (sprints) will be added if time permits. Racers will be heated according to ability determined by entry seed times. Skaters with less than one-year short track experience will race in Novice Groups. Event officials may reorganize heats in the interest of safety. Awards will be given according to points totals in each gender and age division.
